Sorry some photos are a little blurry.

Ultrasound May 4 2007

Here's the foot. Heel is at upper right with toes pointing down diagonally.
The face- top of head on right, chin to the left.
Profile of baby's head. You can kind of see the baby's hands near it's nose.

Ultrasound went well. Baby looks healthy and normal. Placenta appears to be attached in the back of the uterus...well away from previous cesarean scar tissue.

Simple Blue Dress

This is a simple dress that I made for Rowan in a couple hours. It's long - but I think I like it that way.

Late April Photos

Attack of the Rowan!

Rowan loves spending time in her sandbox.

Will this get me into trouble?

Who cares! This water is fun - wheeee!

More Easter Photos

Rowan and Grandma A.

Our little family.

Mom's old blankie with much needed new satin edge binding.

Yum!

This is great pizza!

Swimsuit Cover

This is a swimsuit cover that I made today for Rowan. It took me about one hour to sew it. The material is Solarveil - a special material specifically made for blocking out harmful UV rays. It is very breathable for hot days. I decided to do ribbon tie closures on this cover. I think that it would be better to do button or snap closure on future covers. My toddler seems to enjoy pulling on the ribbons - go figure!
p.s. Please ignore the Spaghettio stain on her face!

Summer Romper

This cute little romper is supposed to fit Rowan at 18 mo. But it is a tad short in length. So I guess I will label it as a 12-18 mo piece.

The Empress' New Clothes

A halter style top for the summer. Nearly complete.

Back ruffle on summer top.

Easter dress - prior to alterations.

Dress was taken in at the bodice/waist. A pink belt will be added.

All clothing sewn by Janea. Grandma Allord help cut out the Easter dress.
Thanks Grandma! Are you ready for more? :)

April Showers bring flooded basements.

Rowan is considering a career in mountain climbing. Today the dining table - tomorrow Mt. Everest!
In this photo she is laughing at her image in the mirror.

Rowan now finds it funny to shove her finger way up her nose. When I ask her to stop, she laughs at me. When I pull her finger out, she laughs at me .....and then she shoves it back up her nose. I hope this phase doesn't last too long.

Guess who gave Rowan the grape popsicle.
Mom did!
She actually did a really good job eating it. The few drips on the kitchen floor weren't too bad. We will still use caution with messy, sticky foods in the future though.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Crazy hair!
Yummy taco!
Wearing my taco meat on my face!
Our little leprechaun!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Our Fish

We bought fish tonight! 2 male guppies. We asked Rowan to name them. So now we can introduce to you: on the left is Baba and on the right is Di. Di seems to be the leader and Baba follows him everywhere. So far both fish are fairly content.

I'm a Cheetah

Now, I can run fast like the cheetah!

February Snowstorm 2007

Snow on back patio.

The drift inside the fence is about 3 feet tall.

We packed Rowan upright in a drift. She didn't appreciate it.

Rowan and Dad made a snow man

using tomatoes for nose and eyes.

Rowan enjoyed eating her first snow ball.

Plows piled snow high upon the curb.

And like usual, the plow packed in the end of our driveway.

We received 6-7" of snow on Saturday, Feb. 24th.

We received another 6" of snow on Sunday, Feb. 25th morning.

They forecast more snow yet on Sunday.

Hope you are safe and warm this weekend!

Happy Valentines Day

This Valentines Day, Andy got the family a fish tank and filled it with origami fish. (Some of the fish fell down). Inside each fish was a love note. So I had to open up the fish to read them. Now we have the tank all set up and running and we just need to purchase some fish.

I also got a dozen red roses.
One of them broke, so Rowan got her own rose.

These are Rowan's new knitted overalls.
They work great with her diapers
and they look cute!
